About The Fresh Palate
Ordering
Every week we post a new menu, you pick the items you want or order a subscription package then complete your transaction on-line using our secure checkout process.
Delivery
We currently deliver to Pearisburg through Christiansburg & Radford areas on Sundays after 4pm or Mondays after 11a. You will receive your order on your door step in a thermal-insulated bag filled with ice packs. If your items are being delivered to an office, please indicate the business name in the shipping address so we can make sure you receive your items before you leave work.
While we do everything to ensure your food stays at a safe temperature when delivered, it is important for you to get the entrees into a refrigerator as
quickly as possible.
The next time you order, place your empty bag and ice packs on your door step and we’ll replace it with a new bag brimming with goodies.
If you choose not to continue ordering with The Fresh Palate, contact us so we may collect your empty bags and icepacks. We keep a log of bags used for delivery, if after 45 days you haven't reordered we'll contact you to pick them up. If we aren't able to retrieve the bags, there will be a $15 charge.
All orders will incur a $4.95 delivery fee
Ingredients
In order to make your meals taste the best we make everything from scratch using the freshest ingredients. Whenever possible, local produce and meats are used to not only provide you with the freshest meal, but also to support local farmers and to reduce our impact on the environment. When local produce is not available, we choose organic to ensure that you get the best quality product.

Packaging
Entrée items are packaged in Trellis Earth disposable packaging. It is an environmentally friendly product from production to decomposition. You may receive a few items in aluminum foil or tins, these are recyclable.
Delivery bags and ice packs are reusable; just leave them out the next time your order and we’ll replace it with a new bag brimming with goodies.
Founder
Beth Barnett-Boebel: Beth is a registered dietitian and knows how hard it is for people to eat healthy, despite good intentions. Knowing that busy schedules and ever increasing variety of prepared foods kept people from sitting down to enjoy a fresh, home cooked meal; Beth decided to stop fighting the battle and help people find a solution. Her love of cooking and nutrition background led her to start The Fresh Palate to give people a break from the food battle and to reintroduce tasty, healthy food into everyday diets.
Head chef
Giovanni Guarini: Giovanni brings a vast knowledge of food and cooking to The Fresh Palate. He is from the Mediterranean region of Italy, Puglia, and spent many years in the Tuscany region learning his craft. Giovanni describes his cooking style as "Mediterranean Creative", in which he likes to study the traditional forms of cooking and from it take the simplicity. He describes "that the best way to achieve gourmet experience is to find the best, freshest ingredients and cook them with that simplicity."
